No blogging for the weary

It’s been a while!  I think about writing a post almost everyday, but by the time I am able to sit down and do it, I’m exhausted and my brain has checked out.  I know, excuses, excuses!

The only thing I have the energy to share tonight is:

God thoughts turn into God results.

  1. Wow!Your poems are so poignant and beautiful.I can so identify with them. In 2002 my husband of 34 years told me late December that he was filing for a divorce and moving to Florida. I know we had our ups and downs through the years but we had two wonderful children and at that time two precious grandchildren and were a few years from retirement. My world collapsed and I felt like a fragile eggshell ready to crack. I only got through it by the grace of God and my religious beliefs and many nights alone crying and talking to my father and sister who had already crossed over. I hope that you are in a good place now. 🙂

    1. Thank you! Heartbreak is awful, but we get through it with the grace of God! I am so grateful to say that I am in the best place I’ve ever been. I’m looking forward to following your posts:)

  2. Hi! I want to get a blogroll on my blog to add my favorite bloggers (like yourself) 🙂 But I can’t figure out how to do it. I want to put stuff in a sidebar like you have…any chance you might be able to give me simple instructions on how it’s done. I’ve searched ‘support’ and still am not able to do it! I’m hopeless! 😦

    1. I had a hard time figuring it out too! I’m new to WordPress. But, I googled about how to put a blogroll on a wordpress blog and that helped me a lot. On your Dashboard, go to “Appearance”, “Widgets”, and then drag the “Links” box from the left of the page over to the right side of the page. Then, in the dropdown box on “Links” choose the Blogroll option and follow the other options. To add blogs to the blog roll, use the “Links’ option on your Dashboard and copy and pastethe blog address into the address box and write the name of the blog in the box above that. Scroll down and choose the other options you want. If all else fails, google for help like I did. Hope that makes sone kind of sense!

      1. Just had to let you know that I followed your directions and if you log onto my blog you will see that I have a BLOGROLL!! YIPPEEE!! I am so excited!!! Thank you! Thank you! 🙂

  3. Thanks for your reply! I’m going to follow your directions and see if I can get it to work. I did get one filled out the other day with the name of the website and then when I clicked to save it and went to my home page it didn’t appear on the sidebar…I’m not sure where it ended up! lol
